On what was supposed to be a day of celebration, Mia's 3rd birthday, my brother's family experienced an unimaginable loss. A fire tore through their apartment building, and they lost nearly everything.

Thankfully, everyone made it out safely, and that is what matters most. But their home, clothing, furniture, toys, keepsakes, and the everyday things that make a house a home are gone.
