Support for Salvatore Barbato

Hello friends and family,

My name is Ashley and I am writing on behalf of my dear friends, The Barbato Family.

As some of you are aware Salvatore, has been struggling with stage 4 colon cancer since November 2020. Since diagnosis, Sal has completed 20 treatments of chemotherapy and had a colon resection as of Dec 6, 2022. Recently, we received news that the cancer has spread to his liver and now has liver failure. His journey has not been easy by any means, with him being in and out of the hospital every couple of days. The last two months have been unfortunately, very overwhelming to them.

With Sal’s condition, he has not been able to eat full meals. Sal has been on an all natural diet since 2021, to attempt to help his body fight the cancer nutritionally. Sal’s current state is unfortunate and he is almost non-verbal (can only communicate with a few words) immobile, and fatigue. He is also jaundice, has ascites and also has edema.

It’s been heartbreaking to us all, to witness such a strong man’s body fail to colon cancer that has metastasized to the liver. We all knew that it was going to come to this eventually, but we didn’t think it would happen in short month’s time.

On their behalf, I am asking wholeheartedly, for prayers for their family & donations if you can, for Sal. Donations will help towards funeral arrangements it would be greatly appreciated.
