My name is Jamie Black. I am starting this GoFundMe to help my younger sister and her family. It is humbling because I feel it is important to do what you can to help your family, but sometimes the cost is beyond your capabilities.

The night after Christmas, on December 26th 2025, my sister, Sallie Lewis Mottley, received devastating news. As if losing her children's father nine years ago on December 10th 2016 wasn't enough tragedy for one family, it has happened again. Ronald Mottley was found deceased on MO Hwy 367 when their family vehicle went off the road and flipped upside down, landing in a line of trees. It is thought that Ron may have suffered a massive heart attack, resulting in losing control of the vehicle. We are so very thankful that God made sure no one else was injured. The loss of her husband has created a huge void in her life as well as the children's. As if the grief is not enough to overcome, she has been faced with additional financial challenges, as the vehicle that Ronald was driving was the only family vehicle. I am asking the community to help us gather enough funds to give her husband an honorable funeral, pay off her auto loan, and find a replacement vehicle.
