Hello everyone, this is Salim.

I ask humbly that you take a moment of your time to hear out my current situation:

My fur baby, Meelo, has recently been hospitalized due to having an obstruction in his urethra, making him unable to urinate for for what seemed to be a couple of days.

Currently, Meelo under going anesthesia for a procedure to hep drain the urine out out of his kidneys. It is a very serious procedure, but the doctor said he is doing well so far. I pray to have him back with me within the next day or two.

As some of you may know, vet bills can be extremely expensive and this one is no exception.

Im 22 years old. I quite literally just moved into my own apartment this month. I live alone and I pay for all my expenses myself.

Being transparent, this bill has completely dried up all of my finances, and it feels like all of the work I've put over the last couple months has gone completely down the drain.

I'm doing my best not to let myself feel too discouraged. My son is getting the treatment that he needs, and that's all I could ever ask for.

I please just ask that if you find it in your heart to aid both myself and Meelo in this time of need, it would genuinely mean the world to me.

I know that from other's perspective, it may just be a cat.

For me, Meelo has been there through so many pivotal phases of my life, good times and hard times, and I could not imagine continuing on without having my little furry roommate with me. He is deeply important to me.
