Message from Sage:
Hello Everyone,
On April 16th I had an unfortunate accident on my dirtbike. I was transported to vancouver General Hospital where I underwent a lengthly surgery to repair two broken vertebrae and asses damage to my spinal cord. I have been recovering from the acute inguries and the surgery in the Spinal Unit at VGH. Currently I am paralyzed from the chest down. I do have small amounts of sensation in my toes and up my legs so this is very positive. There is still a lot of swelling so we are waiting to see if things change as the swelling goes down. I have started doing short physio sessins daily and am otherwise resting a lot. I am allowed visitors and am greatful to see friendly faces. The team of physicians, nurses, physiotherapists etc. at VGH are amazing. They have treated me very well and I know I am in good hands. In the coming weeks I will move to GF Strong in Vancouver to continue my rehabilitation, and likely be there for the better part of six months. I am staying positive and hoping for the best possible outcome.
I am very thankful and overwhelmed by the support I have received from friends, family and business colleagues so far. Thanks a million to each and every one of you that has reached out in different ways to show your love and possitive affirmations.
I LOVE you all.

Information:
At this time it is uncertain as to the cost of medical equipment that will be required. Therefor any money donated will go to assisting in those costs at that time. As well Sage would like everyone to know that he will either "pay it forward" or donate whatever funds are unnecessary. A member of Sage's family will be in charge of the money and disbursement.
Sage is a proud man, also one of the most amazing people most of us know. He would give the "shirt off his back" to anyone (and has probably done exactly that more than once....literally) His sense of humor is as one would expect. :) Visits with him are a gift in itself.
Keep sending him all the positive thoughts you can muster up!
As his friend, I have to acknowledge his brother and sister and their families. Know to your core that he is surrounded (around the clock) by such love and support. SAGE is that guy. The one we admire, trust and love.
Updates on Sage will be posted on this site.
