My name is Susan, and I am reaching out for help after the sudden and devastating loss of my husband, Ryan Wessels. Ryan was only 42 years old when he suffered four heart attacks and is now brain dead. He was the best thing that ever happened to me, and his absence has left a hole in our lives that can never be filled. Ryan struggled with cyclic vomiting syndrome and schizoaffective disorder, facing so many challenges and so much pain, but he always found joy in music and cherished every moment with our family. He was everything to us, and I have no idea how to go on without him. I miss him so much, and so do our children.
Ryan's social security was our only income, and now, on top of our grief, we are facing the reality of not being able to pay our bills or cover the costs of his funeral. I have two children—our 14-year-old, who is autistic, and our son, who is currently in bootcamp. We are trying to hold on and support each other, but the financial burden is overwhelming.
We just lost our soul, and I can't do it alone. Please help us give Ryan the farewell he deserves and help us keep our home while we try to find our footing again. Any support you can offer, whether through a donation or by sharing our story, would mean the world to us. Thank you for reading and for caring about our family.
