edit: I’m now being denied short term disability from my work and have to get a lawyer to fight for me to get it.

My name is Ryan, and I’m reaching out for support during a really difficult time in my life. Recently, I was exposed to carbon monoxide for an extended period, which has left me unable to work as I focus on recovering my health. This situation has been overwhelming, both physically and emotionally, and it’s been hard to ask for help. Unfortunately, I won’t be eligible for short term disability until February 1st, so I’m facing a gap where I have no income to rely on.

During this time, I’m struggling to cover my basic needs—rent, groceries, my car payment, insurance, and medical bills. Every day is a challenge as I try to keep up with these expenses while also prioritizing my recovery. I’ve always tried to manage on my own, but right now, I need a little help to get through this tough period.
