Hey everyone!

If you know my brother Ryan, you know that he is such a beacon of positivity and love. He is so supportive to everyone and he goes out of his way to help so many. You may also know that Ryan has been struggling with Crohn’s disease for the past ~20 years. I can tell you that he struggles more than he will ever let on and he continues to be such a support for those around him even though some days he is barely holding on for himself. This year has been exponentially worse than years before. Ryan has completed two serious surgeries recently and still needs one more in the near future. After the first surgery, he was forced to return to work to provide for his family and was never able to heal completely which has created even more health issues for him. 

The financial burden is weighing on him and his family so I am hoping for us to rally around him and show him some financial support in his time of need. 

Update: As many of you know, Ryan and Erica are aware of the fundraiser and are SO THANKFUL. Our entire family is in awe of the generosity so many of you have shown. This is helping them to be able to pay their bills while Ryan is out of work. And on a bright side, Ryan appears to FINALLY be healing appropriately. 

I am writing to let you know that Ryan remains in a tough situation as he still has a long road of recovery ahead of him so I have raised the fundraiser goal.  Paperwork has continued to not be filed from the hospital, leave requests have been repeatedly denied from his work. He is currently unable to use vacation hours and has received no pay for two months with no end in sight. He is in the process of filing appeals and requesting paperwork to be sent from the hospital but is feeling very hopeless right now because they obviously cannot continue on with no income. If you are reading this, I am asking for you to please share with people who know Ryan&Erica may have not already seen the fundraiser.
