Hi everybody!  It certainly has been far too long since I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside you all.  I am posting today to rally some support for our good friend and ICU family member Rudy! 
Rudy has recently received news that his father has been diagnosed with a brain tumour.  Like many of you, Rudy originates from Back East and will have to travel back and forth to be present and support his father and family members during this time. 
As Rudy has always been such a support to us all, be it through the work he does or the bear hugs and the calm-centred presence that he provides, I would like to set up a fund to help offset some of the financial burden of his situation. 
I spoke to Gail, who agreed to collect some money if you are interested in helping financially.  Additionally, I will set up a Go Fund Me account if that is more convenient.  Rudy has consented to receiving help of this nature but, so as not to overwhelm and distract him from work, please be discrete about this as it is a challenging time.
