Today on this fatal day, 23rd June 2018, a family from Edison, New Jersey has been torn apart by a tragic drowning incident in the lake of the sole earning member of the family – Amit Gupta, who is survived by his wife and two kids (11 year and 9 year old)
This tragic incident occurred when Amit took his son for swimming into lake designated swimming area. Amit lost control, started drowning, tried taking his son’s help but realized that his son might drown too and moved him away. Though the swim radius was small but as the lake water was dark it took more than an hour to find the body and he was declared dead after futile CPR attempts and other medical procedures.
Hearing the news wife and kids are totally devastated and unfortunately have not immediate family and are completely dealing this unbearable loss on their own.
When we think about Amit, his ever-helping nature, smiling face and full of life persona comes to our mind. He has been a great father, husband, friend, colleague and nothing can replace this unbearable loss.
While our prayers are constantly with them we have created this GoFundMe to provide the monetary support for the bereaved family which can help in funeral expenses, kids education and family support during these difficult times.
