We’re reaching out during one of the hardest chapters our family has faced, asking for help for our incredibly strong niece.

Since she was just 7 months old, she has been fighting battles most people will never experience in a lifetime. She underwent open heart surgery as a baby, followed by reconstructive procedures and ongoing yearly heart interventions. At just 13 years old, she faced another open heart surgery. At 14, she underwent spinal surgery. At 15, she had to go through a hysterectomy.

Now, she continues to fight.

She currently needs physical therapy twice a week and is facing yet another spinal surgery. Because of everything her body has endured, she has not been able to attend school regularly. The physical challenges have also taken a deep emotional and mental toll, and she will soon be spending two weeks in the hospital to receive the support she needs.

Despite all of this, she continues to show strength, courage, and resilience every single day.

Unfortunately, insurance is not covering many of the essential treatments, therapies, and hospital costs. The financial burden has become overwhelming for our family.
