Hi everyone, I’m asking for support for my best friend since childhood, Roysheeta Leatherwood, a hardworking single mother of five who was recently diagnosed with stage 4 neuroendocrine lung cancer. She still has two teenagers at home depending on her, and this diagnosis has completely changed her life overnight.




Roysheeta has spent her life working hard as a semi-truck driver to provide for her children and make sure they always had what they needed. She has never smoked a day in her life, which makes this diagnosis even more heartbreaking and unexpected. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatments and is unable to work while fighting this devastating illness. The loss of income, combined with medical expenses, household bills, groceries, transportation to treatments, and daily living costs, has created an overwhelming burden for her and her family.




As someone who has known Roysheeta since childhood, I can honestly say she is one of the strongest, most caring, and hardworking people I know. Right now, she needs love, support, and the chance to focus on healing and being there for her children.
