My name is Rosa. I am a single mother of two beautiful children, a Stage 2 Breast Cancer survivor, and a woman who is fighting every single day to rebuild her life.

In the last two years, I lost my stepfather — my greatest source of love and financial support — while I was still in the middle of chemotherapy and radiation. I also survived domestic violence and made the brave decision to leave my marriage while pregnant. And in a moment of grief and vulnerability, I lost my entire life savings of $160,000 to lady who Walt’s in my life and scammed me of every last penny.

Today I live in Las Vegas with my two children — my 7-year-old daughter who has autism and ADHD, and my 4-year-old son who lights up every room he walks into. I work part-time while actively searching for full-time employment. Every single day I show up for my children, even when it is hard.

My desire to give great foundation for my son by sending him to Challengers School for their summer program — an incredible opportunity that would give him a strong academic head start. The tuition is $3,300 — and right now, that is beyond what I can manage alone.
