My name is Rosa, and I’m reaching out for support as I navigate a very difficult chapter in my life. Earlier this year, I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. The treatments—chemotherapy and surgery—have left me unable to work, and I’ve been struggling to keep up with daily living expenses ever since. My stepfather, who was my main source of financial support, passed away in March 2025. Since then, it’s been a constant challenge to provide for my family on my own.
I am a mother to two young children: my six-year-old daughter, who is autistic and still in diapers, and my three-year-old son. The cost of rent, groceries, and basic necessities has become overwhelming, especially as I try to care for my daughter’s unique needs while managing my own health. The loss of my stepfather’s support has made it even harder to keep up with bills and ensure my children have what they need.
Right now, I’m hoping for enough help to get us through the next few months while I focus on recovery and caring for my kids. Any support will go directly toward rent, daily living expenses, and providing for my children’s needs. Thank you for reading my story and considering a donation to help us during this challenging time.
