Rosa Arias was a light in the world. She worked as a therapist for a state funded mental health facility here in Denver, Colorado. Ro was the type of person who would drop anything for you, talk you through any mental health crisis, and she would make you laugh while she did it. She has saved and touched countless lives in our little Denver community. She was a talented performer, roller skater, and a beautiful dancer. She lit up any room she walked in. I have never met someone so unbelievably kind, gentle, and unwaveringly loyal. She was absolutely one of a kind. She saved Casey's life when she found her. Ro helped Casey find their sobriety and before we knew it, I was helping Casey find Ro's engagement ring. They've been married ever since. This has absolutely shattered Casey's whole world.

Rosa was tragically killed in a fatal car accident this week. We are organizing this fundraiser to help carry the expenses of Ro's funeral costs and to support Casey's mental health treatment and relocation. The funds are meant to help Casey cover the cost of Ro's funeral, cremation, and to care for their cats that were also in the vehicle while Ro was driving. The funds are also meant to help Casey seek mental health treatment, grief counseling, and to cover the cost of necessary medications along the way. Casey will be living with friends over the next several months while they are receiving mental health treatment. She will be relocating to Los Angeles to be with her friends and to help build our new business.
