My son Ronald E. Cook (Ron) has always been a loving and giving person. If he could help someone in need, he would do it without hesitation. Now, he is the one who needs help. In the past two months, Ronald has gone from a positive Cologuard test to three colonoscopies, multiple rounds of biopsies, and numerous MRIs and other tests. Throughout this difficult time, he has had to pay the 20% upfront that his insurance doesn't cover, which has quickly added up. Just yesterday, he had his chemo port put in, and with the new year, his insurance has reset. The bills are piling up, adding even more stress to his health issues.
Ronald is currently on short-term disability, which means he will only receive 60% of his pay. His wife, Ana, is doing everything she can to help him navigate this challenging time, but she will have to return to work on January 5th and can't afford to lose her job. I wanted to help in any way I could, so I am starting this fundraiser for Ronald. Any donation you make will help ease the financial burden and allow him to focus on his health and recovery. If you can't donate monetarily, please lift him up in prayer. As Ronald says, 'God's got this.' Thank you so much for your support and kindness.
