Ron Hogue has been my friend since we were three years old, and I am honored to help share his story. He grew up believing in hard work and paying your own way, and Ron's pride would never allow him to search for a handout. Ron spent his life working in the field he loved as a graphic artist, dedicating most of his career to the St. Louis Post Dispatch Newspaper. Unfortunately, with the collapse of the newspaper industry, Ron was forced into early retirement years ago, which led him to exhaust any retirement savings he had. Despite these challenges, Ron has always remained amazingly upbeat and positive, even as he has fought end-stage liver disease (NASH, non-alcoholic sclerosis of the liver) for over ten years.
Now, Ron and his wife Glenda are facing mounting medical bills and the financial stress that comes with such a serious diagnosis. The combination of his medical situation and the loss of his career has created a pressing need for support. Funds raised will help ease the financial burden on Ron and Glenda, covering medical expenses and funeral costs during this incredibly difficult time.
Ron has a very large group of friends and family who care deeply for him, and I know that any support you can offer would mean the world to Ron, Glenda, and all who love him. Any amount, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated. Thank you for considering a donation to help this wonderful family in their time of need.
