On February 2, my nephew Rollen was the victim of a gunshot to his chest and has been in the hospital in critical condition. This has been an incredibly difficult time for our family, as we are doing everything we can to support Rollen and his immediate family while he fights to recover. The emotional toll has been heavy, and the financial strain is growing as we try to be there for him every step of the way.

Many of our family members live in Georgetown, TX, and are traveling back and forth to the hospital in Austin, TX to be by Rollen’s side. The cost of gas and travel adds up quickly, and his mother, Ashly Rodriguez, is missing work to stay with him, making it even harder to keep up with bills and provide for her other two children. We are doing our best to make sure everyone is cared for, but we are reaching a point where we need extra help.
