Support for Roji's Funeral & Repatriation Expense

Dear Friends,

It is with heavy hearts that we come together as a community to support Roji's family during this time of profound loss. Roji P Idikula, a dedicated nurse from Pathanamthitta, Kerala, who had recently embarked on a new journey in Tuam, County Galway, tragically passed away on 1st of September, 2023 due to a sudden brain haemorrhage.

In his final act of selflessness, Roji donated his organs, giving the gift of life to 4 other people. His legacy of compassion and generosity continues to shine brightly through this incredible act of kindness.

Roji was not just a caring nurse but also a loving husband to Sneha, who is also a nurse, and a doting father to his two lovely daughters. They had recently relocated from Cork to Galway with dreams of a brighter future. Little did they know that a week ago, Roji would fall ill with severe headaches, ultimately leading to this devastating outcome.

We, along with all those who knew and loved Roji, are coming together to extend our heartfelt condolences to his family. In this time of unimaginable grief, we want to alleviate some of the financial burden faced by his family by supporting them in covering the funeral and repatriation expenses.

Your contributions, no matter how big or small, will make a significant difference in helping his family to honour Roji's memory with a dignified farewell and bring him back to his homeland (Kerala, India).
