Roger and Stephana Spann are my aunt and uncle, and they are facing an incredibly difficult time. Roger was recently diagnosed with stage 4 renal cancer in his back. The pain is constant, and the doctors have told us there is nothing more they can do. The cancer is too severe for surgery, and as a result, Roger is no longer able to work. This has placed a tremendous emotional and financial strain on both Roger and Stephana as they navigate this heartbreaking journey together.

Roger is the kind of person who would give the last dollar he had to help someone else. He spent his career working as a mechanic and also served as a Baptist preacher, sharing his faith and compassion with everyone he met. On Sundays after church, he would visit nursing homes to preach and bring comfort to those who needed it most. Roger is a great man who loves God, his family, and music, and his kindness has touched so many lives over the years.
