Rodolfo Ramirez Jr is my brother, and we’ve always been inseparable—except for the times he served our country as an Army US Veteran or worked in different states. He’s 53 years old, a devoted father to two daughters and a 13-year-old son, and a loving grandfather to three grandkids. Rodolfo has always put his family first, especially after our dad passed away. He moved in with our mother to help her with bills, food, and daily life, showing the same selflessness he’s given to so many others.
Recently, our lives changed in a matter of weeks. While working together in Euless, Texas, we both started feeling sick and thought it was just allergies from a hotel. My symptoms went away, but Rodolfo’s didn’t. He grew weaker, lost his appetite, and struggled to breathe. After a hospital visit, we were shocked to learn he had stage 4 cancer. Rodolfo has always been healthy—no high blood pressure, no diabetes, nothing. The diagnosis hit us hard, and it’s been a whirlwind ever since.
Now, Rodolfo is facing mounting medical bills, travel costs for treatment, and daily expenses that don’t stop just because life has changed. Our family has always tried to help others, but now we find ourselves needing support. I wish I could do more for my brother, but I’m reaching out to our community for help. Any support you can give—no matter how small—will make a difference for Rodolfo and our family. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and generosity.
