Support for Rodeo Families in Crisis

Regan Price is a student rodeo athlete at Pratt Community College and a qualifier for the Jr High and High School Rodeo Finals. He is also a current member of the Central Plains Region of the College Rodeo Association. Regan is known for his dedication to the sport and his willingness to help his teammates. I high school rodeoed with him and we even college rodeoed together. During a recent college rodeo event, Regan was hazing a steer for a fellow teammate in the steer wrestling when the steer unexpectedly stepped in front of his horse. This caused his horse to trip and fall, landing on Regan. As a result, Regan suffered serious injuries to his back, neck, face, and skull. The accident has had a significant impact on his life and his ability to continue participating in the sport he loves. Friends of Regan and the Price family have set up this fundraiser to help cover the costs of Regan’s tests, medical services, and hospital stay. The family is not directly involved in organizing this fundraiser. Your support will help Regan get the care he needs as he recovers from this difficult experience.

Kelsey Domer is the mother of Oaklynn. This fundraiser is in memory of Oaklynn Domer, a precious three-year-old who loved horses and is now with our Lord. Kelsey is a breakaway roper, a sport that I also compete in, and when this tragedy took place, it affected the whole rodeo world. We want to help Kelsey and her family with the expenses they will have to endure during this heartbreaking time. Please help support the Domer family. Thank you for your help and prayers.

While we were all busy feasting and hunting Easter eggs with family and friends, Dean Thompson was bearing down for the fight of his life. Dean, our 2024 World Champion Bareback Rider, spent his Easter Sunday taking his first chemo treatment after doctors discovered a mass in his neck. The biopsy confirmed it’s Burkitt’s Lymphoma, an aggressive, fast-growing form of cancer. Dean was admitted to the hospital and started a treatment plan that will include four cycles of chemo in the next four months. His beautiful bride, Chezney, is by his side, as are his parents and brothers. As a rodeo family, we can pray and we can rally. Dean would never ask for anything, but the last worry in ultimate-warrior mode should be money, and it goes without saying that the medical bills will be staggering. Thank you so much for caring and for helping Dean and his family through this difficult time.

Please join us in supporting these rodeo families during their time of need. Every donation, share, and kind word makes a difference. Thank you for standing with us and showing the strength of our rodeo community.
