Support for Rod & Cathy Manion

Growing up many of us had a “second family”.  A place where you walk in and feel right at home.  The memories of those people bring a smile to your face any time you think of them.  I found that comfort with Rod and Cathy Manion.  Over the past week I feel the love that so many community members share for the Manion family.  For those who do not know, Cathy and Rod were diagnosed with COVID. Cathy fought hard to overcome the illness but lost her fight on October 11th.  Rod is fighting hard every day and will have a tough road ahead of him. Chris, Steph and Sarah continue to bring him strength and share all of your kind words of encouragement. Besides being emotionally draining this illness has brought on financial obligations that fall in the hands of their kids. Cathy spent her life always giving everything she had to her work and family.  No matter what she did it was filled with love and her unforgettable sense of humor.  Unfortunately she was left without life insurance. The cost of the burial Cathy deserves, and the continued cost of medical care is building every day.
