Support for Rod & Rylen Antone
Donation protected
Friends of the Antone ‘ohana are asking for your support.
Maui native Rod Antone has suffered an unthinkable loss. His 15-year-old son, Rylen, passed away suddenly Sept. 28, 2020.
If you know Rod, you’ve seen evidence of his love and dedication to Rylen.
Please consider helping Rod and his family by supporting the unfathomable task of laying Rylen to rest.
Your donation won't take away Rod's enduring pain. But it will make things a little easier as he tries to move forward.
100 percent of funds will go directly to Rod and his family for funeral expenses.
Mahalo for your consideration,
Maui friends of the Antone ‘ohana
Rod's own words, written on 9/28/2020:
"I cannot describe what it feels like to lose a child. Mostly there is shock and numbness followed by blinding sadness, pain and anger.
I talked to him last night at 8:49 p.m. HST and then this morning he was gone. Just didn't wake up. His mother discovered him in his bed in their home in San Jose, already cold to the touch.
He was only 15 and the funniest and smartest boy I know. I loved him immensely. We played video games and watched Rick and Morty, Dragonballz and other nerdy stuff.
He was my son, my friend and a blessing. I wish I could talk to him again one more time.
So whatever you are going through with your kids just love them.
Love them all the time.
I'll love you forever and ever son you are and always will be the light of my life."
