My name is Prichelle T. and I am reaching out on behalf of my cousin, Rocelia Gendrett. I come humbly to this GoFundMe platform with all the faith I have in the Lord, believing for healing and help for her. Rocelia is a woman of faith who is currently facing an incredibly difficult life hardship. On January 13, 2026, Rocelia began experiencing shortness of breath and severe pain in her throat. She was able to get to the emergency room, where she was referred to a specialist. After several tests, the physician explained that she has a large mass on her esophagus, lungs, and the back of her heart. She is now scheduled to have major surgery to save her life.
Rocelia has always been a dedicated, hardworking woman who sacrifices for others and gives selflessly. She is a single woman living alone in Washington state, and unfortunately, she does not have disability benefits through her employer. This means she will not be able to cover her monthly expenses like housing, car note, medications, and live-in help during her recovery. At this time, she does not qualify for any government assistance. Her family is in Los Angeles and has limited resources to assist with her needs in the coming months as she recovers from surgery.
We are reaching out to ask for any and all help that Jesus can lay on the hearts of those willing and able to assist. No donation is too small. Our family will continue to pray, support, and give as much as we can, but we are also asking all believers to join us in fasting, praying, and standing on the word of Jesus Christ for all needs to be met and for Rocelia’s complete healing. We humbly thank you in advance and look forward to sharing updates on Rocelia’s praise report. From her heart to yours, The Family.
