Rocco, a majestic 10 1/2-year-old Great Dane, wasn't just a pet; he was family, a source of joy, and a loyal friend who touched the hearts of everyone he encountered.

Personal Story:

Born on the beautiful island of Oahu, Rocco's journey led him to Maui and eventually to our current home in California. His gentle soul and unwavering companionship made him not just a dog but a legend in our lives. Recently, Rocco faced a sudden health crisis—bloat, the leading cause of death in Great Danes. Despite our immediate actions and the success of the emergency surgery, Rocco's path to recovery took an unexpected turn.

The Battle and Loss:

Complications arose, leading to aspiration pneumonia, and our resilient Rocco faced an uphill battle. We fought alongside him, but eventually, we had to make the heart-wrenching decision to let him rest. We said our goodbyes in the hospital, surrounded by memories and love, until his last breath. Losing Rocco has left an indescribable void in our lives; he truly was one of a kind.

The Challenge:

Now, we face the daunting financial burden of the extensive medical care that was provided to Rocco in his final days. The total cost, $14,343.00, weighs on us. While reluctant to seek financial assistance, we know Rocco touched the lives of many, and we humbly ask for your support.
