Our dear friend and teacher, Robin Bliss Wagner, was critically injured on February 16 while doing fire risk mitigation work near his home with his three boys. Thanks to his hard hat and the quick emergency response of his children, Robin is alive, but he is currently in a coma in the ICU and beginning a long healing process. Robin has been a powerful friend, mentor, and teacher to countless people. His love for the Earth and a sustainable future has fueled his tireless work as a nature educator for the last 20 years.
Robin's teaching work is the primary income for his family, and at this point, it is not clear when he will be able to work again. This leaves his wife Ruth and their three boys needing support to cover emergency ICU medical expenses, ongoing medical care and rehabilitation, mortgage costs, household bills, and food and necessities for the family. The goal of this fundraiser is to offer stability to Robin's family on what will likely be a long road of recovery. All funds will go directly to Ruth to support the family's needs.
Please donate if you can, and share this fundraiser widely. If you or someone you love has benefited from Robin’s mentoring, this is the time to give back. We will continue to post updates on Robin's recovery and appreciate your support during this difficult time.
