Hi, my name is Robert, and I’m reaching out for help during a very difficult chapter for my family.

For over a decade, I’ve lived with uncontrollable seizures that have affected nearly every part of my life. Over time, they’ve taken away much of my independence. My ability to drive, to work consistently, and to safely care for my family on my own. Losing that autonomy has been one of the hardest parts of this journey, and it’s something no amount of determination alone can fix. After years of limited options, this recent brain surgery was a necessary step toward regaining stability, but the recovery process is significant and will take time.

Because of my condition, my partner has been carrying an extraordinary amount on her shoulders for a long time. She is the primary driver, the main source of income, and the caregiver for our household, all while supporting me through years of seizures, countless medical appointments, and now surgery and recovery. She has held everything together for our family, often putting her own needs aside while quietly worrying about rent, bills, and our day to day stability.

This fundraiser isn’t easy to ask for, but my hope is to provide her with some relief. Even temporarily so she doesn’t have to carry everything alone while I recover. With rent and other essential household expenses due in the coming days, and limited income during this recovery period, any support would help ease the immediate financial strain on our family. Funds raised will go toward rent, household expenses, transportation, and basic living costs while I heal and work toward greater independence.
