Support for Roberto's Family in Their Loss

My name is Ryan Davis with Commercial Contracting Corporation - we recently lost a dear friend and team member, Roberto Cerda Carrion on June 9, 2024. We are hoping that we can come together and support his family in this time of great loss.

Roberto always gave his all in everything he did, was integral to the success of his current project to date in so many ways and is missed very much by his family, friends, and teammates.

Fort Wayne, IN – Roberto Cerda Carrion, 68, of McAllen, TX , Passed away Sunday Morning June 9, 2024, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN with his family by his side after a courageous battle following a heart attack and multiple emergency surgeries.

Roberto joined Commercial Contracting Corporation (CCC) in the Fall of 2023 as a Journeyman Carpenter, Local 615, and was a critical part of the PC3 JV team performing the Clean Room/ Dry Room installation in the Formation Building at the StarPlus Battery Plant megaproject in Kokomo, IN. Most recently, prior to CCC, he transitioned into the role of insulated metal panel scheduler at PUGA Thermal Services, headquartered in Atlanta, GA.

Born in Reynosa Tam, Mexico, he was the son of the Cerda Carrion family. He was a graduate of the first-generation Veterinary class of 1975. Roberto had various occupations throughout his life, ranging from entrepreneurship to various management roles in different industries.

Roberto was cherished as a dear friend and paternal figure by many. He is remembered for his delightful sense of humor and his love for life.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, he leaves behind his loving wife of forty-five years, Ivonne Cerda, his daughter Alejandra and his grandchildren.
