On March 1, 2026, Our brother in Christ Roberto Recinos was taken to St Boniface Hospital. He was suffering from cardiovascular disease and remained in the hospital for one month. He was then able to come home and be with his wife Lucy and family. Just two days later, he suddenly experienced a heart attack and was taken back to the hospital. He has since been put on life support and after many tests, he has been given very little hope from the doctors. His family has had to make the difficult decision to remove him from life support. This will be done over the Easter weekend of 2026.

We are heartbroken by the sudden and fast decline in his health. It is hard to process losing a loving husband, father, and brother in Christ to so many. We are asking for support for the family, as they navigate this challenging time. All proceeds will go towards a memorial service and to support his wife Lucy, who has had to take time away from work as she navigates this time for her family.

Roberto Recinos was a man of God, he was devoted to his church, the radio ministry he ran in Winnipeg, as well as spreading the word of God. He will truly be missed, the only comfort is knowing he will be home with the Lord.
