Roberto Armendariz has been a cornerstone of the El Paso Central community for over 30 years, running Marie’s Pastries and serving generations of families. He started working at the age of 16 to help support his own parents, and his dedication never wavered. Roberto’s greatest joy came from seeing his customers return year after year, watching families grow, and being a part of their celebrations and milestones. He also loved attending local high school football games, always cheering on the community he cared so much about.
In 2020, Roberto’s health began to decline, and he faced a long battle with illness. Despite his strength and determination, the treatments became overwhelming, and he recently made the difficult decision to stop dialysis. We brought him home for hospice care so he could be surrounded by family and comfort in his final days. Now, we are facing significant medical bills and the costs of funeral arrangements.
We are reaching out to friends, family, and the El Paso community for support. Any contribution will help us honor Roberto’s legacy and give him the farewell he deserves. Thank you for helping us during this difficult time and for remembering the impact he made on so many lives.
