Support for Robert Newton's Cremation Costs

Donation protected
Hello my name is Tiffany. My dad is Robert Newton. He passed away on 4/6/25 at hospice. August of 2024 he was diagnosed with throat cancer and the doctors said the cancer was only in his throat. The mass was on his voice box and pressing against his airway. They immediately took him to surgery to give him a trach to save his breathing until they could get him in for surgery to remove the mass. He stayed at the hospital for about 3 weeks after the trach waiting for the surgery to remove the mass. He had this surgery in late Sept and got to come home. The doctors said they removed the mass and that he was otherwise healthy. They did not see any other cancer on the scans so I thought this was a good sign. He went for a follow up and they advised him to do chemo and radiation just to make sure there was nothing left of the mass. He completed 30 chemo treatments and 30 radiation treatments which ended in December. He was feeling better and starting to get his taste back and gaining weight and was almost ready to get back into working. He continued his follow up appointments and then a few weeks later everything that he ate was coming back up through his stoma and his nose. Then he started to have alot of secretions which led to an infection of his stoma and what seemed to be an infection in his jaw. He had scans and biopsys done which then we found out that he now had brain, mouth and neck cancer. In late January they gave him 3-6 months to live. He didn't want to do any other surgeries so he opted in palliative care to manage the pain. With everything going on and the pain still not being managed he went to the hospital at this point the doctor said theres nothing they could do and the only way to manage the pain and comfort for his last days here was to enroll in hospice. He went home from the hospital with in home hospice. He was having troubles breathing and the hospice nurse advised him to go to their inpatient hospice unit on. He agreed because they told him the key words "Pain Free". My dad didn't last two days in hospice. I found out that he didn't have life insurance and no funds and I have been off work taking care of my dad and having a hard time getting the funds for cremation. He wanted to be cremated so I'm trying to follow his wishes. The total to get him cremated with return of ashes is 1,950.00. Im asking if anyone would be able to donate anything to help me during this difficult time, I'd be forever grateful. Anything helps no amount is too small. If you even want to donate to the funeral home directly you can do that as well. He is at Don Catchen & Sons in Erlanger Kentucky.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read and thank you so much for helping my family and I during this difficult time.
