My father, Robert (Bob) Mummert, lost his life tragically and unexpected on July 13, 2024 in a hit and run accident in Omaha, Nebraska while acting as a Good Samaritan to remove debris from the roadway and to protect others from the hazard. We are shocked and devastated by his sudden passing. His life was taken too soon at the age of 56. He was a son, a father, a grandpa, an uncle, and a friend to countless people throughout his life. We are all deeply mourning his passing. We may never fully know the positive impact he made in others lives. So, we are humbly asking for your help to honor his life and to cover his final expenses.
A little about Dad (Bobby) was a Navy veteran and a proud American. He loved his country and served it well. He was a talented and skilled carpenter who took pride in his work and devoted his life to the trade. He was an active member of the German American Society in the Omaha community.
Visitation services for my Dad, Robert Mummert, will be Wednesday, July 17th, 2024 from 11 AM to 1 PM at Heafey Hoffman Funeral Home
