Support for Robert Goeden and Family
Donation protected
On Wednesday January 22nd during the early morning hours Robert was involved in an accident that has left him with severe injuries to his spine. He has already undergone one surgery so far and has a very long road to recovery. Robert is a loving husband, father to 2 beautiful girls and a son. He is also an admired son, brother and uncle. Robert is an active member of his community and part of our volunteer fire department and ambulance crew. Robert and his family need all the prayers and support they can get at this time. Please consider helping Robert and his family during his road to recovery.
Update from Roberts wife:
As many of you may have heard Robert fell late tuesday night from the scaffold outside our house and suffered a some severe injuries. He shattered his T-12 bone in his back. He had a long surgery Wednesday evening to help "fix" this bone. Rods and many screws are being used to help support above and below it. He has major compression of his L-1, L-2, and L-3 vertebrae in his lower back. He has 5 broken ribs and many processes on some other back bones have broken off as well. He suffered some spinal damage and many nerve endings. He has feeling in his legs, but no movement in the left leg.
It's unclear what his future holds, but one this I've known about this man to be true is he is a strong as any I've ever met or known and he absolutely will get through this!!
I seriously can't thank everyone enough for all the love and support you all have shown our family and especially for Robert these last few days. If I haven't gotten back to your texts or calls please don't take that personally as I've been kinda busy . I've told him about all of your kindness, well wishes, prayers and support.
From our family to all of yours THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
Please continue to pray for his healing and strength.
