Support for Rob Pierce in his recovery

Donation protected
On February 12th, I was told one of my really good friends and friend to many people in our community; Rob Pierce was in a roll over accident coming home from work on February 11th. He had to travel along I-80 coming from Elko NV to Carlin NV which is about 20 minutes time. Rob had swerved to miss a deer that had jumped out on the interstate causing him to over correct and roll his vehicle. During the roll over Robs left hand managed to get stuck outside the window and was crushed. He was flown to the University of Utah, with a small brain bleed in which Doctors were able to contain, then had to amputate Robs hand because of the extent of the damage. Rob had to under go another surgery on February 14th to reopen and clean out any debris left in his hand and to make sure the skin was healing correctly. He is scheduled for his 3rd surgery on February 18th to remove 3 more inches from his arm, for a better fitting prosthetic. Rob has a long road ahead of him with his recovery. Before the accident Rob worked as an underground miner SMD drilling at the Jerritt Canyon mine. Rob also served as an Infantryman in the United States Army, with 3 tours, then another tour with a Private Military contracting company. Rob is a devoted father to his beautiful daughter Eva, he truly enjoys the outdoors, going shooting and working out at the gym. This accident will be very devastating and life changing to his everyday life. We are hoping with your support, we can help take some of the stress of his financials off his back while he focuses on his recovery and long life ahead of him.
