On November 1, 2021 River (7yrs) & Lakelyn (5yrs) were in a tragic automobile accident, taking the life of their only living parent, Lacole Dana, as their father passed away only last year. Both children were rushed to a local hospital. River has been released with minor injuries. Lakelyn is still in the pediatric wing under close medical supervision. Once she is released, both children have a long road of healing ahead of them. They will be cared for by their only living relatives who live locally. The caregiving team will have a tremendous undertaking as they find the emotional and financial support to get them what they need to thrive.

 

The goal of this fundraiser is to alleviate the financial stress placed on River & Lakelyns family, by raising enough to cover upcoming expenses (medical bills, clothing, school supplies, groceries) while caring for them.
