On January 13th, Rio Honaker passed from this life. Rio was more than just a neighbor or farmer—he was a cornerstone of our rapidly growing community. His small farm became a gathering place for children, neighbors, friends, and families in addition to the goats, ducks, chickens, and hogs. He and Audrey made it into a place where people could connect, share stories, and support one another. Rio’s warm heart and kindness touched all our lives. His enormous smile and deep laugh are already missed, and will continue to be missed. Because Rio placed all his resources into the farm that he shared with us, Audrey is facing financial difficulties while coping with the trauma of this loss. Let's come together to help her and honor Rio. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly to funeral costs. Rio would want the neighborhood to continue coming together as a community.
