We’re raising funds to help cover some of the medical and funeral expenses for Rick Pfendler. Rick died on December 18, 2025 at the age of 64 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Rick was a man of strong faith, being an active member at Hope Lutheran Church in Wake Forest, NC for over 26 years. Throughout his time there he served on the usher team, visitor outreach team, and coordinated youth fundraisers. He leaves a legacy of hospitality and friendliness that has led many to call Hope their church home.

Rick was also a loving father and husband, who lived out his biggest dream of becoming a dad and grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife, Renee Pfendler, to whom he was married for 38 years, and his sons Chase (Kristie) Pfendler and Ryan (Jessica) Pfendler.
