Rick Anton is fighting for his life. After suffering a massive heart attack, he is currently in a medically induced coma in the ICU. Recently, Rick developed pneumonia, and his lungs are struggling—he was briefly taken off a paralytic to see if he could breathe on his own, but it was too much stress for his body. The medical team is hoping to start targeted antibiotics soon, but they are waiting on cultures to come back. This sudden medical emergency has left his wife Maegan and their loved ones in a state of shock and uncertainty. To make matters even more difficult, Rick’s employer does not offer short or long term disability, so the Anton family is left without a safety net during this critical time.

I’ve had the privilege of knowing Rick for over 10 years. We met at work and have been in the trenches together through many challenges. Rick is always there when you call—he’s a grinder, always willing to put in the hard work, and he has a gift for training others to become operators, supervisors, and managers. His technical skills are unmatched, and he has an incredible ability to learn and adapt quickly. He loves his motorcycle, side by side, and his truck, and he’s a devoted husband and father who always puts his family first.
