This diagnosis has turned our world upside down, leaving Dad and his partner, Dianne, facing an unimaginable challenge.
The impact of CJD on our family has been profound. It has robbed Dad and Dianne of their future plans, leaving them to grapple with a harsh and heartbreaking reality. As they navigate this difficult journey, we are committed to offering them all the love and support we can muster.
Our family is spread across two states, between Victoria and Queensland, making it incredibly costly for us to be by Dad’s side during this time. Rick, who has always been there for others, now needs us more than ever. Whether he was lending a listening ear, coaching kids at footy in his younger days, or spreading joy and his extensive knowledge of wine through his business, Dad has touched countless lives with his generosity and kindness.
