Returning Home: Richie, Nancy, and Delilah

Please help in anyway you can to support Richie, Nancy and Delilah. They are an amazing family that really needs some support to get back on their feet.
Six years ago, in July 2018 Richie and Nancy's lives changed forever with the birth of their granddaughter, Delilah. Delilah’s mother, their daughter, was unable to care for her newborn, and left Richie and Nancy and the babies biological grandfather with a decision to make. Rather than let the state take custody of her, as Delilah’s grandparents, they chose to fight for custody. After a month battling out of state for Delilah’s well being, Nancy was finally awarded full custody.
Nancy and one month old Delilah returned to their one bedroom apartment in Belleville, NJ. where Richie and Nancy raised the little girl as there own daughter.
It was certainly not an ideal living arrangement, but they made it work as best as possible.
Their greatest help during Delilah's first year was their son, Mickey. He adored his neice, and babysat any time he was able, so that Richie and Nancy could work.
Although Richie was not the biological father of either Delilah’s mom or Mickey, he was the best dad to them, raising them both as his own.
On May 31st 2019 their world rocked one more time with the untimely tragic passing of their beloved Mickey. With their lives completely shattered, and the loss of a child, they picked up the pieces on a daily basis, as best they could, for the sake of Delilah, who they refused to let down. It was extremely difficult at times to raise an infant while mourning the loss of their son.
As you can imagine, they found it very difficult to make ends meet here in northern New Jersey. An opportunity came along in Florida, and with Delilah’s future in mind they decided to make a go of it. They set out for new surroundings and more manageable way of life.
Now 4 years later and several job changes, they realized it was not the right move for them. Moving to a new place with no friends or family proved to be a lot more difficult than they had expected.
I am asking for your support to get Nancy, Richie and Delilah back to New Jersey where they have friends and connections to get back on their feet again. You can imagine how difficult the journey has been for them.
They are most grateful for any help. These funds will go towards moving costs, rent, Delilah's education and basic necessities until Nancy and Richie secure jobs, which are coming into line now, and can make it on their own. I thank each and every one of you, and knowing that you are giving a leg up to such a wonderful family means so much to all of us. They realize now how important it is to be surrounded by the positive and loving people who care about them.
