Richard was the kind of friend everyone hopes to have—generous, caring, and always ready to lend a hand. Whether it was fixing a boat, helping with house repairs, or moving furniture with his pickup, Richard was there for anyone who needed him. We spoke every day, and through those conversations, I came to know just how genuine and good-hearted he truly was. He was the real deal—salt of the earth and someone you could always count on, no matter what.
