Rhonda is a dear friend who has always put others before herself. She is now facing an incredibly difficult time, and I am reaching out to ask for help on her behalf. Rhonda has been diagnosed with lung cancer and recently underwent surgery to remove part of her lung. Unfortunately, her health continues to decline, with new nodules appearing and frequent bouts of pneumonia making recovery even harder. On top of this, Rhonda lives with a disability from a previous accident, which limits her ability to work and makes it difficult to keep up with mounting medical bills and daily expenses.

Rhonda is the primary caregiver for her elderly mother, who recently suffered a devastating fall that resulted in a broken neck and pelvis. Her mother battles severe arthritis and osteoporosis, making her recovery especially challenging. The household is further stretched as Rhonda cares for her grandchildren and her brother, who has a lifelong disability. The cost of food, medical co-pays, and basic necessities has become overwhelming for the entire family.

In 2017, when my own family was in crisis, Rhonda stepped in to care for my daughter and granddaughter after a terrible accident. She changed bandages, provided comfort, and made sure my loved ones were safe when I couldn't be there. I owe so much to this incredible woman, and now she needs our help.
