Hello everyone, this is a GoFundMe to help Rheta Bridges with the passing of her husband Buddy. These funds will be used to cover cremation and funeral home expenses. Every donation is makes a difference and is appreciated!

My name is Julie Tate. My precious friend and neighbor, Rheta Bridges, recently lost the love of her life, Buddy. Her husband of 39 years, father to their three children, and Papaw to their eight grandchildren, he was only 66 years old. Buddy worked so hard to provide for his family and was devoted to his Rheta, who was his everything.

Rheta is always one to show up with a meal, a gift, a hug, anything you need. She has a heart of gold and is a giver by nature, opening her heart and home to so many throughout her life, including raising their precious granddaughter Lulu. Even when facing her own trials, her faith in Jesus carries her through, and she continues to show up for others.

Rheta needs help now. Along with the burial costs, the reality of living on one income is overwhelming during the most emotional time of her life. She has been the hands and feet of Jesus to so many, including me. I am creating this fundraiser in hopes to help lessen the financial burden Rheta is facing. My hope is for Rheta to find strength and peace in her sorrow as she and her family navigate this new journey of life without Buddy. If you feel led to donate, please do.
