For 38 years, retired Denver Police Officer Brian Barry dedicated his life to serving as a police officer, helping countless people in our community and shining a light on suicide prevention. This Hero was always there for others, offering support and hope when it was needed most. Now, Brian is facing a challenge of his own and needs our help.

Earlier this year, Brian underwent back surgery, but complications and a severe infection have kept him in the hospital or rehab since February 20, 2026. The medical bills are overwhelming, and he has not been able to return home. Despite everything, he remains hopeful and grateful for the support of friends and neighbors.
