Essentially, my parents moved me out when I wasn't ready. I've had enough money so far to pay for groceries, utilities, and an initial vet visit for my cat in the duplex they sent me to. I told them I didn't make enough to live on my own, however they ignored this, lied to the landlord about my income, and have told me to "just work as much as I can" (I've been doing gig work as it's the only opportunity I've had, however the website I use is lacking on tasks. And, while I got approved for spark driving, my brake pads are completely worn down and my car's gas is empty.)

I don't have enough for my next payment on rent, which is due in 3 days, and I don't have enough to afford what my cat will need after this next vet visit. She will either need to be put on insulin, or put on a special diet, both of which are quite expensive.

The initial visit I took her to 16 days ago was because she started having issues with water intake (excess drinking), weight loss, vomiting, and diarrhea. They said if she doesn't get better by the 30th to bring her back in for a blood test, as she is potentially diabetic. Until then, she's been on antibiotics for respiratory issues too. She's continued having the same issues, solidifying the fact she is diabetic- we only need a blood test to confirm, however I doubt it'll change much- and this is not just moving stress or due to environmental factors.

I start a new (REAL) job early in August, working for 21/hr for 30+ hours a week, so I will have enough money going forward. This won't matter, however, if I cannot pay for my August rent or her medication/dietary needs. She's at risk, and so am I. Of course, I'm more worried about helping my cat out first.

Please only spare what you can. If you can't afford to help, then that's ok.

Edit: Right now we're sitting at a roughly $300 vet bill (thank goodness for small town vets), and my rent is $500. The full campaign goal is $1000, the interim is $500 to start.

I dropped Mika off at the vet today for her bloodwork, and they said she'd be done around 2:30pm. Not only has she been having the same symptoms for the past 2 weeks, but she's also lost a quarter pound despite giving her extra treats to have after her meds, and a little extra wet food since she's been a little dehydrated. They said she's almost 100% guaranteed to be diabetic, and that we can only hope she isn't.
