Support for Renee and Jerry Rodriquez

Many know Renee Rodriquez as a tireless advocate for the PI community, she has, many times, told her own personal diagnosis journey and talked about her rock, her husband, Jerry.  For those of us that know Jerry personally, he is an amazing husband, dedicated to Renee in a way that  is easy to admire.  He takes care of her, cooks for her, and even looks at her with love.  Renee's rock is in need of some support. 

Jerry has been diagnosed with stage 3 salivary gland cancer.  Today, he will have surgery to remove the parotid gland and the lymph nodes that the cancer has spread to.  He will have 3 weeks to recover/let the incisions heal and then will need daily radiation for at least 6 weeks.  

Jerry is Renee's rock.  And our goal is to provide some relief for Jerry and Renee.  We'd like to get them some help in the house, and most importantly, get them some help to transport Jerry back and forth to radiation.  Many people don't know this, but Renee doesn't drive, so they will need to rely on Lyft, or the help of others.  We would love nothing more than to hire some part time help to run errands, drive Jerry, and provide another set of hands, so their son, Christopher can stay focused on law school.
