Support for Rene Escobar Arias

Many of you know Rene; he has been Discovery's head custodian for four years. He has led his team successfully and gone above and beyond in so many ways, always working hard to support our students and staff. Tuesday night, he was headed to Richmond to visit his father and was in a terrible car accident. He had emergency surgery for internal bleeding; he also had surgery on his ankle. Rene is in recovery at the hospital and while he may be able to return to work in a few weeks, he has a long recovery ahead. His Jeep was totaled and he has three young daughters.

 

This fundraiser is being organized by Discovery staff and parents; the money will go directly to Rene. If you can, please join us in supporting this beloved member of our community.
