My name is Janet and I am writing in hopes of raising money and also requesting prayers, strength and well wishes for my uncle and his family.
On Saturday April 3rd we received the worst news a family member could receive. Our beloved Renato Hernandez Santana, father, grandfather, husband, brother, uncle, and son is currently fighting for his life. He started off his day at work with no issues and no signs of any symptoms but as the day progressed, around 10 am before his shift at work ended things took a turn and was rushed to our local hospital. He was rushed into the ICU and was intubated due to a stroke which caused a severe bleed in his brain that is inoperable. He is currently fighting for his life on support and doctors are staying positive but not giving us much hope at this time.
On Sunday April 4th the Neurologist and medical team told his wife and children that they needed to contact all of his family and friends, and to get ready for the worst. We are not giving up hope and we are praying for a miracle. All of his family and friends have started a prayer chain to raise his spirits in hopes of a miracle and we ask anyone reading this to please join us. Matthew 18:20 “for where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I In the midst of them.”
Renato is the head of house and main support for his wife and two children, the last thing this family needs right now is the added stress of their financial responsibilities and we are asking for any donations to help this family get through this hard time. We understand that times are tough right now and we appreciate the support at this time.

El sábado 3 de abril recibimos la peor noticia que podría recibir un familiar. Nuestro amado Renato Hernández Santana, padre, abuelo, esposo, hermano, tío e hijo, actualmente está luchando por su vida. Comenzó su día en el trabajo sin problemas ni signos de ningún síntoma, pero a medida que avanzaba el día, alrededor de las 10 am antes de que terminara su turno en el trabajo, las cosas cambiaron y lo llevaron de urgencia a nuestro hospital local. Fue trasladado de urgencia a la UCI y fue intubado debido a un derrame cerebral que le provocó una hemorragia severa en su cerebro que es inoperable. Actualmente está luchando por su vida con apoyo y los médicos se mantienen positivos, pero no nos dan muchas esperanzas en este momento.
El domingo 4 de abril, el neurólogo y el equipo médico le dijeron a su esposa e hijos que necesitaban ponerse en contacto con toda su familia y amigos y prepararse para lo peor. No estamos perdiendo la esperanza y estamos orando por un milagro. Toda su familia y amigos han comenzado una cadena de oración para levantarle el ánimo con la esperanza de un milagro y le pedimos a cualquiera que lea esto que se una a nosotros. Mateo 18:20 “porque donde dos o tres están reunidos en mi nombre, allí estoy yo en medio de ellos”.
Renato es el jefe de familia y el apoyo principal para su esposa y sus dos hijos, lo último que esta familia necesita en este momento es el estrés adicional de sus responsabilidades financieras y estamos solicitando donaciones para ayudar a esta familia a superar este momento difícil.
