Our brother, Ren Cain, passed away on January 17th, 2026. He was a proud IATSE member of Local #21 and Local #4, and someone who will never be forgotten. Ren was a father, a son, a brother, a rigger, a stagehand, a business owner, a comedian, a musician, an athlete, and so much more. All of this cannot even begin to paint the full picture; he touched the lives of everyone he knew simply by being Ren, and he will be missed by all of us dearly. Ren is survived by his daughter, Evie. While nothing can replace the loss of a father, we want to provide whatever assistance we can in the difficult times ahead. The funds raised will go directly to Evie's mother, Tina Cattarini, to help with immediate needs and to support Evie's future as they navigate life without Ren.
