Support Pam Alana for Recovery: Help a Family in Need

Hi family and friends, as you all know our mom, Pam Alana has been in the hospital for 15 days so far.

Just to give a short story as to the events unfolding….

on September 6 around midnight my dad had to call an ambulance because mom suffered a seizure. Once to the hospital mom was vomiting and aspirated. So what was probably a gallbladder attack (as her pain was coming from her stomach before the seizure) has now turned into an even larger problem. After the aspiration, it caused mom to have severe pneumonia in her lungs. She was intubated and sedated for 2 days. And remained in icu for a week. They had discovered she had the seizure, pneumonia, MRSA staphylococcus, a serious UTI, sepsis and her gallbladder was under attack.

After a week in ICU she was moved to another room and shortly after being moved she had another seizure. And moved back to ICU. As you can imagine her body is weak. She’s been incredibly ill. Here’s her needs and why the gofund me was created.

She’s now dependent on oxygen. We are hoping for just a month or so but that’s going to depend on her lungs and body. She is in desperate need of a sleep study and a cpap,

she’s now on 2 seizure medications for epilepsy.

and she needs her gallbladder removed immediately. Along, with medical follow ups with multiple doctors for her lungs, neurologist, and physical therapy to help gain mobility again.

my parents don’t have insurance. And my father has been off work for 2 weeks to be with my mom and still taking care of their home and puppy. We are working diligently to get some government assistance but the list is 6 months to a year.

Our mom was taking by ambulance and admitted to ICU.
